What’s On Your Tech?

Here at iTurfApps, we’d like to know what sort technology you use on a daily basis.

So, I wanted to explore this little thing called “What’s on your tech?”. With the goal of not only sharing what sort of technology we use to help us with our jobs in the turf industry, but to also raise awareness. I get that some people like to do it the “old fashioned way” and that works, but what if you could be a little more productive? This is why I write, this is why I share, this is our goal.

So to kick it off, I’ll share the devices that I use daily.

As you can see, I try to keep it as simple as possible and have the apps that I use the most, readily available. If you have any questions about the apps I use, feel free to ask!

Want to know my top 5 Android apps? Check out my post from last month – My Top 5 Android apps.

It’d be great if amongst the industry we could tweet about new apps, share pictures, recommend new devices that some may not be aware of. To make it easier to discover this stuff (aside from visiting Turf Republic), we’d like to dedicate a hashtag on twitter—It’ll be #whatsonyourturftech.

If you’ve got something to share, Tweet/Facebook @Turfrepublic and be sure to use the hashtag #whatsonyourturftech

We’d love to hear from you!

Since my debut as an apprentice greenkeeper (some seven years ago), I have forever been interested in the crossover between our industry and Technology. I try to have at least a brief understanding of most Tech, some more than others. My most knowledgeable aspect would be of mobile and mobile OS. My goal is to enlighten all that care to read, on some fairly simple how to's - to some more advanced stuff for the adventurous. Green keeper at Bonnie Doon Golf Club, Sydney, Australia.
