Sometimes a Hard Reset Does the Trick

I am sure, by now, you are familiar enough with your iPhone or iPad that you have experienced a glitch or two while using your device. Maybe that email wouldn’t send, or after hanging up from a call it thought you were still on the phone, or maybe the phone’s screen just goes black and won’t turn back on.

Well whatever you’re experience is or has been in the past, the “Hard Reset” usually does the trick. This tip has been circulating forums for years. It’s real quick and easy and almost always fixes the hiccup. By holding the top, power button and the circle “home” together at the same time for 10-15 seconds your device will turn off and flash the Apple logo. Once the Apple logo appears you can let go of the buttons and your device will power on. The glitch should be fixed. If the problem isn’t fixed, at least you’ve tried everyone’s step 1 of trouble shooting.
