“Other” Content on iPhone

When I plug in my iPhone to my laptop and view what’s on it through Itunes, what is the ‘Other’ content that’s on my phone mean? How do I manage it?

“Other” represents things such as browser cache and history, calendar events, email and attachments, notes and other small non-media data. If your “other” represents a large amount of storage. Clear your browser history, check how many emails you have synced to the phone and calendar events. All this can be done in settings. If after checking the above you still find “Other” to take a large amount of storage, do a Restore.  Your iPhone or iPad has accumulated a large amount of non-media files and a restore is the only way to remove it.
