Apple Sets Clear Direction for Future

Today, Apple held what has become it’s annual Fall Announcement Event.  Or, maybe better referred to as the “just in time for the holidays event”.

Todays live streamed event brings us updates to the Mac Pro and Macbook Pro hardware lines.  Also announced were the long awaited update to the iPad, now iPad Air and iPad Mini.

The core apps of the Mac operating system were updated as well.  The newly named Mac OS Mavericks was released as a FREE update to all Macs dating back to 2007 models.

Also, seeing major and long overdue updates iLife (iPhoto, Garageband, and iMovie) and iWork (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) have been retooled to support the interface changes of iOS7.  The updates support a new common files system that works across Mac, iOS, and the web.  Did we already mention these updates are FREE!
